After graduating from Towson State University Chris Walker spent most of the 1980s playing shows in Las Vegas. Returning to the Baltimore/Washington area to join the United States Navy Band, he spent 21 years as lead trumpet in the United States Navy Band Commodores Jazz Ensemble, retiring in 2012.
Chris has performed and/or recorded with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and local legends Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy, as well as stars ranging from Aretha Franklin, Justin Bieber, and Mariah Carey to Renee Fleming and Andrea Bocelli.
Currently active in the jazz and theater scene, Chris has played shows in all of the area's major theaters and has appeared with jazz legends such as David Sanborn and Lee Konitz.
